16th August 2025, Day 1: Arrival – Entebbe
One of our company representatives will pick you from the airport and transfer to airport guest house for dinner and overnight.
17th August 2025, Day 02: Visit Entebbe Botanical Gardens and Uganda Wildlife Education Center in Entebbe
After breakfast, your guide/driver will pick you and take you to Uganda Wildlife Education Centre’s (UWEC) where you will join professional staff as they guide you through the daily activities required in caring for the center’s many animals. UWEC was formed in 1994 as a trust to transform the neglected Entebbe Zoo, UWEC is dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of injured and orphaned wildlife, educating Ugandans about the benefits of conserving the country’s biodiversity and working with local and international partners to initiate conservation activities throughout Uganda’s national parks and protected areas, from here you will go for lunch and after lunch drive to Entebbe Botanical Gardens and look out for the Slender-billed Weaver, Brown-throated Weaver¸ Golden-backed Weaver, Yellow-backed Weaver, Grey-headed Gull, Long-tailed Cormorant, ,Yellow-billed Duck, Pied Kingfisher, Giant Kingfisher, , Broad-billed Roller, Black-and-white Casqued Hornbill, Orange Weaver, , Red-chested Sunbird, Ross’s Turaco, Pied Hornbill, , Open-billed Stork, Great Reed Warbler, Grey-capped Warbler, among others. 18th August 2025, Day 3: Entebbe/Kampala to Murchison Falls National Park
Depart Entebbe via Kampala early morning taking a panoramic drive north-west Uganda through the famous Luwero Triangle. Stop over at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for Rhion trekking, Ziwa was opened up in 1998, the Rhino fund aims at re introducing black and white Rhinos into Uganda’s and as well as educating the local communities about the endangered Rhinos, poaching and environmental conservation. The Rhino trekking in Ziwa santuary takes 1-2 hours and you will get an opportunity of viewing them at close quarters, after drive continue to Murchison fall with a lunch stopover in Masindi and continue on to the top of the Murchison falls. 19th August 2025, Day 4: Morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise
Early morning game viewing to search for giraffes, lions, hart beasts, elephants, cape buffalo and many other mammals. For those who love birds’ lovers Murchison falls is a biding paradise, birds to see include the Black Chested Snake Eagle, Blue Napped Moosebirds, the Secretary bird, Swallow Tailed Bee-eaters and the Silver Headed Agama. After lunch, you will go for an exciting a boat ride on the placid Victoria Nile to the foot of the magnificent Murchison Falls where the Nile plunges through a narrow crevice and over a 40-meter drop.

20th August 2025, Day 5: Murchison Falls National Park – Kibale Forest National Park
Take a scenic drive on to fort portal town, checking in for dinner and overnight at Kibale forest Lodge or chimpanzee Forest lodge.

21st August 2025, Day 6: Chimp trek Kibale Forest and afternoon Bigodi Swamp Walk
Early morning walk in Kibale Forest to trek the habituated chimps. Watch the delightful apes as they squabble and play in trees, return in time for lunch and after lunch, go for a 2-3-hour optional nature walk in Bigodi Swamp a home of 200 bird species including the Papyrus Gonolek and the Great Blue Turaco. Bigodi swamp has also got 8 Primate Species and an abundance of butterflies. If time allows you get opportunity to visit Bigodi women’s project located at the wetland sanctuary. This women group sells Mats, bags, jewelry and some little percentage of all sales from crafts contribute to the group development, this income has funded Bigodi Pre – Primary school in the community and supported some orphans, widows, the disabled and other disadvantaged people in the community.

22nd August 2025, Day 7: From Kibale Forest to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Have an early morning optional tour to the crater lakes region. If time allows you will also visit the top of the world, on the clear day you can have a view the snow Cap of Mount Rwenzori. Have an early lunch at the lodge and drive through the foot hills of Rwenzori ranges as you access Queen Elizabeth National park.

23rd August 2025, Day 8: Morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise on Kazinga channel
Get up ready by 6.30 am in the morning prepare for game drive. The park’s diverse ecosystem of grassy plains, tropical forest, rivers, swamps, lakes and volcanic craters is home to an incredible abundance of wildlife which includes buffaloes, lions, elephants and other wild life in their natural habitat. The game viewing ends at around 10am to 11am and after return to your lodge for a late breakfast and have some time to relax, after lunch prepare for the afternoon launch cruise on the Kazinga Channel which starts at 2 pm and it takes 2 hours. This boat ride introduces you to a variety of water birds and on a hot day, hippos, elephants, buffaloes and waterbucks can be sighted as they bathe and drink water along the channel banks.

24th August 2025, Day 9: Transfer to Ishasha Sector
Have a relaxed morning and after breakfast drive to Ishasha for an afternoon game viewing. Ishasha sector is known as the most alluring region for game viewing in Uganda and it’s the only place where chances are high to spot the tree climbing lions.

25th August 2025, Day 10: Ishasha – Bwindi Forest National Park
Brief game drive to try you lucky again and after transfer to Bwindi Forest National park.

26th August 2025, Day 11: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After briefing from park ranges, enter the Bwindi forest at dawn and enjoy the beauty and freshness of the Bwindi impenetrable forest, this park is home to more than half of the world’s mountain gorillas in the world, walk through the dense bush to trek these endangered animals depending on where they built their nest the previous night. Once you find them you will spend with them 1 hour observe the gentle giants as they feed and play.
Depend on the time you will return from gorilla trekking If time allows in the afternoon you can go for1 to 2 hours community village walk.

27th August 2025, Day 12: Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
Go for another morning game viewing and after guide will drive you to lake Bunyonyi, Lake Bunyonyi is found in Kabale district and its the second deepest lake in Africa, its also a great place for bird lovers, on your arrival, you will be welcomed by the sweet sounds of the birds. The word Bunyonyi means small birds in (Rukiga) the local language. In the afternoon you will go for a canoe/boat ride on the lake which anbles you to see various birds spices, Lake Bunyonyi has over 29 islands. The environment on this lake is really good so take as much photos as you want. Diner and overnight at.

28th August 2025, Day 13: Explore Lake Bunyonyi and transfer to Kigali Rwanda
In morning you have another opportunity to enjoy the rich biodiversity Lake Bunyonyi with variety of bird species. Later in the midmorning you will return to your lodge for a late breakfast as you prepare to check out and drive to Kigali. Depending on the time of your flight, you can first have an early lunch and transfer Kigali airport arriving in time for your late evening departure flight.
