Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe Airport and Transfer to Kibale Forest for Chimp Trek

Frist day of 14 Days Tanzania Great Migration Safari with gorilla trekking . In the morning, you will drive in the company of your driver guide to Kibale forest via Fort Portal through the impressive countryside landscapes along the way. You arrive in Fort Portal city in time for lunch, and after driving to the, starting point of Fort Portal Crater Area for an amazing, simple hike and scenic views. Explore the Amabere g’ Nnyinamwiru Caves, which is an ancient historical feature that locals believe to be the breasts of Nnyinamwiru – the daughter of one of the Kings.

After you retreat from the Amabere caves, you will continue with the hike to the Fort Portal Crater Lake area up to the summit hill to gain remarkable views of these craters, At the summit of the hill, you will find amazing scenic views of the area and distant views of the Mount Rwenzori and beyond. Later in the evening, continue to Kibale National Park for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: chimpanzee trekking in Kibale Forest & afternoon Bigodi Swamp Walk

This morning is for chimp trekking in Kibale Forest. After breakfast, you gather at Kanyanchu Tourism Centre for a briefing at around 7:30 am by the Uganda Wildlife Authority park rangers, and after head to the prehistoric Kibale forest in search of your closest cousin in their natatural habitat. Kibale Forest offers great flora concentration with 351 Species of trees, some of which are over 200 years old and over 55m tall. The Kibale Forest also supports 70 species of other mammals and 13 species of Primates such as the common chimpanzee, Black and white colobus, and red-tailed monkey, among others. This forest is also a home to 375 Species of birds that thrive in this forest, among the bird species include the impressive western green tinker bird, two species of pittas (African and green-breasted), etc.

When you finally find the chimps, you will be allowed to spend one full hour seeing them munch fruit, hunt, patrol, copulate, young ones playing, make pant hooting calls, and do their other daily business. After you retreat from the forest and connect to the starting point where you find your driver guide, then go for lunch. The swamp also supports the swamp-dwelling sitatunga antelope, and also features a heritage encounter with the local people and craft centre that enables you to explore the local way of life.

Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

After midmorning breakfast, embark on the journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park, you will have a game drive en route where you might spot game along the way before heading to your accommodation for dinner and overnight. Day 4: Morning game viewing & afternoon boat cruise on Kazinga Channel

Get up and ready for a 6.30 am morning game drive. Queen Elisabeth National Park’s diverse ecosystem ranges from grassy plains, raintropical forest, rivers, swamps, lakes, and volcanic craters, and most importantly, it is a home to an incredible abundance of wildlife. Animals to see in Queen Elizabeth Park include lions, elephants, buffalo, hyenas, among other wildlife in their natural habitat. Return to your lodge for midmorning relaxation as you wait for lunch, and after, go for 2 2-hour afternoon launch cruise on the Kazinga Channel connecting Lake George and Lake Edward. Kazinga Channel is home to a variety of water birds, Crocodiles, hippos, elephants, buffalo, and many others that can be sighted as they bathe and drink water at the water’s edge.

Day 5: Drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

Have an easy and relaxed morning, and after, you will depart from Queen Elizabeth Park and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest for the mountain gorilla trek the next morning. Have a few stopovers for some informative talk, viewing points, and a photographic opportunity, and then continue to Bwindi Forest for Lunch as you drive through the rolling green hills of Banana and Tea plantations and head to the Bwindi National Park.

Day 6: The Gorilla Trekking Day in Bwindi Forest

After an early breakfast, your driver guide will take you to the Park headquarters for registration and join other tourists in a briefing about the dos and the don’ts when with Gorillas at 7:45 am. After the briefing by the park rangers, Gorilla trekking starts from here taking you through thick creepers and undergrowth with your ranger guides to find the mountain gorillas. Gorilla trekking can take you half a day to three-quarters of the day, depending on the movement of the gorillas. The steeply forested landscape is incredibly dense but crisscrossed by numerous animal trails, providing an opportunity to come face-to-face with these great giants. It is an extraordinary feeling being with these beautiful Creatures for one full hour.

Day 7: Drive to Entebbe for an afternoon flight to Arusha, Tanzania

Your driver guide will check you out and transfer you to Entebbe airport for your evening flight to Arusha, Tanzania. On your arrival at the airport in Arusha, you will be warmly welcomed by our Tanzania tour guide, and he will drive you to the lodge in Arusha town for Dinner and overnight at The African Tulip Hotel on FB.

Day 8: Transfer to Ngorongoro crater- conservation area

Have breakfast after check out and drive to Ngorongoro Crater. On the way, you will have a stopover to visit Karatu Market, have an ethno-botanical walk, and also have the opportunity to visit the local Iraq Tribe in the Karatu area. thereafter, continue with the drive to the Ngorongoro Crater Conservation Area where you will reach in time for lunch, and after lunch, you can choose to relax at the lodge or go for a optional guided walk in the Ngorongoro crater area along the Endoro Trail with hiking up to the Endoro waterfalls and the Elephants Caves, all this will depend on how much time we will have on this evening.

Day 9: Go for full day game drive in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Go for an early morning game viewing within the Ngorongoro conservation area, remember to take a packed lunch with you because this game drive is a full-day activity. Expect to see lots of animals such as black rhinoceros, African buffalo, hippopotamus, the blue wildebeest, Grant’s zebra, common eland, and Grant’s and Thomson’s gazelles, waterbuck, among others. Day 10: Transfer to Serengeti National Park

Today is another exciting day, after breakfast, your driver guide will drive you to Ndutu via Olduvai Gorge, after go for game drive through the vast Ndutu area in the western Ngorongoro, have a stopover for lunch at any of the camps, after explore more on the game drive later in the afternoon, before driving back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight, as you drive back, you will another stopover at some of the Masai Village at the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

Day 11: Explore Serengeti National Park

Go for another amazing game drive in Serengeti. Please remember to go with packed lunch because this is another full-day game drive in the Serengeti Park which is home to the greatest concentration of large wild mammals in East Africa and if not in the whole world, expect to see many different non-migratory animals such as large prides of lions, leopards, tens of thousands of topi, cheetah, solitary, Masai giraffe, Thomson’s and Grant’s gazelle, and Coke’s hartebeest, Waterbuck, impala, warthog, and hippo are also abundant. The landscape in Serengeti National Park is characterised by open plains, kopjes, rock formations that survive from the Precambrian period, as well as open woodlands. Day 12: game viewing at the Mara River

Today miatebe the highlight of Tanzania wildlife game viewing, having an opportunity of game view the Mara River, where you will expect to watch the great migration of the wildebeests, gazelles, and zebras. This river gushes through the northern Serengeti from the Kenyan side, adjacent Maasai Mara Game Reserve.

Seeing the frantic herds of the wildebeest migration crossing the Mara River is a very spectacular moment, it is not normal to see those great animals in great panic and confusion. You have another chance to have good views of the great Serengeti plains on a good day; it looks amazing.

Day 13: Drive to Arusha

Here, the trip is coming closer to the end. After a relaxed late morning breakfast, Your driver guide will transfer you back to Arusha. Day 14: Departure- Transfer to Airport

Today is a free day as you prepare for your late evening flight back home, have lunch later in the day, and transfer to the airport, which marks the end of your 14-day Tanzania Great Migration Safari with gorilla trekking.
