Day 1: Arrival in Arusha

This tour begins with your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) in Tanzania. Our driver guide will warmly welcome you to Africa and transfer you to your Lodge in Arusha city. Depending on your arrival, you may have the opportunity to go for an evening walk around Arusha town as you prepare for the adventure ahead.

Day 2: Tarangire National Park

In the morning, transfer to Tarangire National Park, have a full day of game drives, expect to encounter different animals such as Hyenas, lions, elephants, leopards, and many other species. Have a lunch stopover at one of the camps in the park. Continue with the game viewing the later in the evening head to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Drive to Lake Manyara National Park

Go for another exciting game drive in Tarangire National Park, capturing some other sightings you may have missed on the previous day. After transfer to Lake Manyara National Park, Lake Manyara is very famous for its tree-climbing lions and diverse birdlife. You will reach there late, just in time for the evening game drive.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Your guide will be ready to take you for an early game drive in Lake Manyara National Park. After lunch, he will transfer you to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, the you will have the opportunity to visit a local Maasai village, get a chance to learn about their traditional culture and their way of life. Drive to your lodge for dinner and overnight at the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater area.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater Exploration

After breakfast, you will have another chance to explore Ngorongoro Crater, which is often referred to as the Garden of Eden. Expect to see lots of animals that you could have missed on the previous day. Have a lunch stopover at one of the camps by Crater Lakes before ascending to the crater rim as you head back to the lodge for dinner and relaxation.

Day 6: Drive to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, your driver guide will transfer you to the world’s most famous National Park, which is the Serengeti. On the way, have a stopover at the Olduvai Gorge archaeological site and after continue to the park for afternoon game drives in the central Serengeti, here you will have a chance to witness some of the incredible spectacle Great Migration, depending on timing, if timed right, you will see big herds of wildebeest and zebras traverse the plains. Drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Serengeti National Park

In order to maximize your chances of encountering the Great Migration, today you will spend another day exploring the central Serengeti, observing the predators as they follow the herds. Lunch will be served in the park at one of the camps. Later in the evening, return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 8: Serengeti National Park

Transfer to the northern Serengeti as we follow the path of the migrating herds. Enjoy the landscapes and wildlife of this northern region. After your guide drives you back to the lodge, you will reach the lodge late in the evening. Check in and enjoy the sounds of the wilderness

Day 9: From Serengeti to Kisumu via Tarime Boader (Kenya)

In the midmorning, cross the border into Kenya and continue with the drive to Kisumu town, you will reach your lodge in the evening and check in for dinner and overnight, and relaxation as you prepare for a long drive to Uganda, “The Pearl of Africa”, the next morning.

Day 10: Depart Kisumu town and Transfer to Uganda

Depart Kisumu for Jinja in Uganda. The drive to Uganda is an amazing trip filled with lots of sightings and cultural experiences along the way. You will reach late evening. Dinner and overnight at Jinja Nile Resort

Day 11: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary- for Rhino tracking

After an early breakfast, preferably in the morning from Entebbe to avoid the traffic jam, take a panoramic drive north-west through the famous Luwero Triangle. Stop over at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. The Rhino trek takes 1-2 hours, and you will get an opportunity to view them at close quarters. Stopover for lunch in Masindi and continue wth the drive to the top of the falls. Checking in for dinner and overnight.

Day 12: Morning game drive &afternoon boat ride in Murchison Falls

Go for an early morning game drive, look out for leopards, hyenas, giraffes, lions, hartebeest, elephants, cape buffalo, and many other mammals. Birds include the Black Chested Snake Eagle, Blue Napped Mousebirds, the Secretary bird, Swallow Tailed Bee-eaters, and the Silver Headed Agama. Have lunch, and after go for a boat ride on the placid Victoria Nile to the foot of the Murchison Falls, where the Nile plunges through a narrow crevice and over a 40-meter drop. Some of the animals to see include the Nile crocodile, pools of hippo, waterbucks, and a variety of bird species.

Day 13: Murchison Falls National Park – Kibale Forest National Park

After breakfast, transfer to Kibale Forest. The drive to Kibale Forest National Park takes you through papyrus swamps and thick forest towards the Kibale Forest, which is neatly tucked at the foot of the Ruwenzori Mountains. Take a scenic drive to Fort Portal town before checking into your accommodation

Day 14: morning chimp habituation experience & afternoon bigodi swamp walk

Early morning walks in Kibale Forest for a chimp habituation experience. Watch the pleasing apes as they squabble and play around. After lunch, we shall go for a 2-3 hour optional nature walk in Bigodi Swamp, a home of 200 bird species, including the Papyrus Gonolek and the Great Blue Turaco. The swamp has also got 8 Primate Species and an abundance of butterflies. Get a chance to visit the Bigodi Women’s project located at the wetland sanctuary office in Bigodi trading center.

Day 15: Drive to Queen Elizabeth Park (Afternoon boat Cruise and Evening game drive.

After the break, drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. As soon as you get you will see some incredible scenery along the way. Queen Elizabeth National Park protects 200km of the Rift Valley Savanna, interspersed with patches of forest and crater lakes. Have lunch at your respective lodge, and after you will head to the jetty along Kazinga channel for the afternoon boat ride. This cruise offers you chances of viewing animals like: hippos, different water birds, elephants, buffaloes, crocodiles and many other wildlife which flop the channel for drinking water, and then drive to kasenyi for an evening game drive in search for wild animals which include Elephants, Buffalos, Deferent species of antelopes, sometimes the wild big cats like the lions and the Leopards among others

Day 16: Drive to Bwindi Forest National Park

After morning breakfast, transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park.

Day 17: Gorilla tracking day in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Today, enjoy the beauty and freshness of the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, home to more than half of the world’s mountain gorillas. Gorilla trekking starts with a short briefing by the park ranger guides, proceeds through the dense bush to trek for these endangered animals, depending on where they built their nest the previous night. Once you find them, you will be allowed to spend one full hour with them, observing these gentle giants as they feed and go about their daily business. In the late afternoon, you can go for an optional village walk around Bwindi Forest. Get a chance to see the livelihoods of the local communities living around Bwindi, and take part in the traditional dances offered by the community.

Day 18: Transfer to the Airport

In the morning after breakfast, it’s time to say farewell, and after we drive you back to Entebbe airport or Kigali airport for your evening flight, we and say bye-bye to Uganda
