Uganda Gorillas & Wildlife Tour

Day 01: Arrival at Entebbe International Airport.

On arrival at Entebbe International Airport you will be met by your guide and you transfer to your Hotel.Guest house.

Meal plan: Bed and Breakfast.
Drive time: 15 minutes.
Lodge: Airport Guest house or African Roots Guest house.

Day 02: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park.

After breakfast, drive to Lake Mburo National Park through the small towns of Uganda for your 8 Days Uganda Gorillas & Wildlife Tour. Make a stopover at the Equator line for photograph and some informative talks and experiments. Enjoy an enroute game drive as you drive to your lodge hotel for check in and lunch.After lunch you will have a boat on the lake in search for hippos, Crocodiles and water birds among others.

Day 3: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

After breakfast, enjoy an en route game drive through Lake Mburo National Park and then Proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park located in South Western Uganda. This journey takes you through the green rolling hills of Uganda with banana and tea plantations and good scenic views. Lunch will be served en route and you will arrive in Bwindi in the evening.

Lodge: Buhoma community Rest camp.
Drive time: 6-7 hours.

Day 4: Gorilla Tracking Day.

Early morning, breakfast with your packed lunch, you will report to the Park headquarters for registration and join other trackers in a briefing about the dos and the don’ts during your gorilla tracking at 7:45 am. You will trek through thick creepers and undergrowth with your guides to find the Gorillas, which can take you half an hour to three quarters of the day. The steeply forested landscape, is incredibly dense but crisscrossed by numerous animal trails allowing access to tourists. It is an extraordinary feeling being with these beautiful yet endangered Creatures.

Day 5: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park.

This morning you will depart for Queen Elizabeth National Park, be prepared for some incredible scenery along the way. You will arrive in the Park in time for an afternoon boat cruise along the beautiful Kazinga channel. The boat cruise which takes you two hours is a great location for photography, bird watching, or game viewing with such diversity of life supported by the channel including hippos, water birds, elephants, buffaloes, crocodiles and many other wildlife which flop the channel for drinking water.

Meal plan: Breakfast,Lunch and Dinner.
Lodge: Bush Lodge.
Drive time: 4-5 hours.

Day 6: Morning Game drive/ Transfer to Kibale National Park.

After an early breakfast drive to the northern bank of Queen Elizabeth National Park (kasenyi) area in searches the wild animals which include: Elephants, Buffalos, and the wild cats, Savanna birds and deferent species of antelopes such water bucks Uganda kobs among others. After lunch you will drive to Kibale Forest National Park arriving at your lodge in the evening.

Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch and dinner.
Lodge: Chimp Nest.
Drive time: 3-4 hours.

Day 7: Chimpanzee Tracking.

This morning after breakfast you will drive to the park headquarters to join other trackers for a briefing and after you will be taken for chimpanzee tracking, through Kibale Forest National Park. During this walk you will have chances of seeing many of the 13 primate species native to Kibale Forest National Park. After lunch you will drive to Bigodi for a swamp walk. This wetland belongs to community neighboring the park.

Lodge: Chimp Nest.

Day 8: Transfer to Kampala.

After an early morning breakfast, you will drive back to Kampala Entebbe International Airport for your flight out late in the evening.

We use both standard 4×4 customized safari vans and 4×4 luxury customized safari Land cruisers as our road mode of transport for game viewing, taking photos wildlife filming and photography, all our safari vehicles has pop up roofs for proper game viewing and easy for to take as much photos as you can, with also charging system for your cameras, phones and also every client is guaranteed of a window seat for easy view.
