Chimpanzee Low Season Discounted Permits Uganda Gorilla permits, Uganda Government and its agencies like Uganda Wildlife Authority has introduced discounted gorilla and Chimpanzee permits which has been in operation for some time, The tourists and other travelers that are interested in Gorilla and Chimpanzee tracking during the months of April, May and September would pay $450 for the Foreign Non Resident permit, $400 for the Foreign Resident Permit.

Uganda has maintained the discount for the gorilla permits and Chimpanzee Permit?
The new discounted gorilla permits stand at $450 for the Nonresident while the resident permit stands at $400 and in addition, the Chimpanzee permits have been reduced by $50 putting the price in the low season months at $100. This initiative makes the chimpanzee trekking in Kibale National Park – the primate capital of the world affordable compared to when the permit is at $150 in the high season months.
The two offers in the mentioned months are an opportunity that tourists and other travelers can use this advantage. The Bwindi Impenetrable National Park features a minimum of 440 mountain gorillas and is a remarkable UNESCO world heritage site which makes it an ideal site for gorilla trekking tours/safaris. Kibale features the largest group of the habituated Chimpanzees alongside other 13 species of primate making it an ideal destination for primatologists as well.
