The good news coming from Kigali is that now all travelers visiting Rwanda can get their visa on arrival, this announcement allows tourists and other visitors across the world can now be issued a 30-day visa on arrival at the airport in Kigali and other entry points into Rwanda this starts from 1st January 2018.
It’s now very clear that you do not have to apply before traveling to Rwanda you will easily be issued a visa upon arrival in Kigali or at all border points entering Rwanda without prior application, this begins this January 2018.
For Rwanda to approve visas on arrival we think this is a move to attract more tourists coming to track Rwanda mountain gorillas in Volcanoes National Park and also to increase foreign investors, trade, and other tourism-related products
A single entry Rwanda tourist visa costs US $50 (exclusions apply for select countries and are valid for 30 days, A single entry conference visa costs the US $30 and is valid for 30 days and A multiple-entry business visa costs the US $50 and are valid for one year while the East African Tourist Visa (EATV) covers Rwanda, Kenya, and Uganda, costs $100 and is valid for 90 days.
