And for Gorilla Habituation, the cost of a gorilla habituation permit in Uganda is higher, usually ranging from $1,500 to $2,000 per person. Rwanda (Volcanoes National Park):
Gorilla Trekking: The permit fee for gorilla trekking in Rwanda is higher compared to Uganda. It is currently set at $1,500 per person for all visitors, regardless of residency or citizenship. And there is no gorilla habituation experience in Rwanda.
Democratic Republic of Congo (Virunga National Park):
Gorilla Trekking: The permit fee for gorilla trekking in Virunga National Park, DRC, is lower compared to Uganda and Rwanda. It is currently set at $400 per person for foreign visitors and $200 for Congolese nationals. Virunga National Park does not currently offer gorilla habituation experiences to tourists.
