Gorilla Trekking-Buhoma Sector-Bwindi Forest-Uganda, Buhoma sector was the first sector in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National park to kiki start gorilla tracking in Uganda, Buhoma  sector  opened the first habituated gorilla group/family to the tourists in 1993 and the first gorilla family to be habituated is called Mubare family.

Now Buhoma sector has 3 habituated gorilla groups all of is open to the visitors for trekking in Bwindi Forest, other activities in Buhoma sector including walking safaris, Batwa cultural experience, Munyaga River Trails, Rushura Hill Trail, birding safaris, Buhoma community cultural performance, Buhoma  sector is the lowest altitude in Bwindi Forest and also very easy for those doing gorillas tracking Buhoma sector will be the best location for old people and those who are not very fit.
