Use road transport for your Uganda gorilla safaris via Kenya
If you choose to use the road at the end of your Kenya safari, please ask your Kenyan driver/guide to drop you at the Ugandan border where you will meet your Uganda driver/guide who will transfer you to Kampala or in Entebbe for your overnight accommodation as you prepare for the next day drive to Bwindi forest national park.
You can as well use the bus from Nairobi to Kampala, there is daily scheduled buses coming from Nairobi to Kampala, when you reach Kampala our driver/guide will pick you from the bus station and transfer you directly to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, but it will depend on the time of your arrival, for example, if your arrival beyond 11: 00 am you will have to spend a night in Kampala or in Entebbe so that you can start earl your drive to Bwindi forest.
Just to let you know that you can as well fly from Entebbe Airport to Kisoro airstrip or to Kihihi airstrip close to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. There are daily scheduled flights from Entebbe International Airport to Kisoro airstrip which is located in the Southern part of Bwindi forest or fly to Kihihi airstrip which is located in the Northern part of Bwindi forest so for those who don’t want to spend 9 to 10 hours’ drive from Kampala/Entebbe to Bwindi forest national park so you if you choose to fly from Entebbe airport to Bwindi forest save about 9 hours because flying from Entebbe to Bwindi takes only 45 minutes.
