Gorilla permit availability will depend on which country you intend to trek gorillas from and also each country has a different number of habituated gorilla families. Each gorilla family is visited by 8 people per day. Uganda has 20 gorilla habituated families in both Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park and Mgahinga Gorilla National Park and Rwanda has 10 gorilla habituated families in Volcanoes National Park.
