Kyambura Gorge is part of Queen Elizabeth National Park located in western Uganda, Kyaambura Gorge has a few chimps which can be tracked during your Uganda safari in nearby national parks like Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, the Rwenzori Mountains National Park, and Queen Elisabeth National Park
Tracking in Kibale Forest
Normally everyone knows that the Kibale forest is the best place for Chimpanzee tracking destinations in Uganda and Africa.
Kibale Forest National Park doesn’t need any introduction as it is home to over 40% of the Chimpanzee population in East Africa. Kibale Forest also has 13 other different species of primates; Kibale Forest National Park is also referred to as the Capital City of Primates in Uganda and in the whole world
So when you pay your chimpanzee tracking permit, you will not only see chimpanzees but get a chance to see other 13 different types of primates living here in the Kibale forest
If interested in spending more time with chimpanzees, you can take part in the Chimpanzee habituation experience, here you spend a full day with a team of researchers and park rangers who are in process of habituating chimps to used to human presence, and you get to learn different behaviors of chimpanzees.

Kaniyo Pabidi also known as Budongo Forest is located in the northwestern part of Uganda’s largest national park-Murchison Falls National Park, Boudong Forest has incredible biodiversity that has different types of primate species which include Chimpanzees and other many types of monkeys like Vervet monkeys, Blue monkeys, black, white colobus monkeys Red-tailed monkeys and many others.
