Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Transfer to Mount Elgon National Park

After morning breakfast drive to Mt Elgon national park located in the Eastern of Uganda for your 4 Days Mt Elgon Climbing Safari , have a stopover in Jinja and take a boat cruise to the source of River Nil, after boat ride have lunch before continuing to Mt Elgon the mountain that has the biggest and largest surface areas of any extinct volcano mountain in Africa and in the whole world.

As you climb Mount Elgon you will enjoy the most beautiful caves, waterfalls, cliffs and gorges and beautiful rain forest of Africa. Dinner and overnight at the Sipi Falls Rest Camp or at Sipi River Lodge.

Day 2: Start the hike via Kapkwai Trail

have morning breakfast and after continue with you Elgon hike, take packed lunch with you, today you will first Kapkwai in the Chebonet valley exploration, and after take the climb through Bamboo forest trail which is 7km hike-loop across the River and the Southern rim of the gorge. Dinner and overnight at the Rest Camp.

Day 3: Hike Sasa Trail

today you will enjoy a full day hiking experience on Sasa Trail, on this trail you see different landscapes from the high altitude and moorland. Dinner and overnight at the Rest Camp.

Day 4: Transfer back to Entebbe/Kampala

Enjoy morning hike around the beautiful Elgon region and later transfer back to Entebbe-marking the end of this trip.
