Day 1: Arrival in Uganda

7 Days Hike Mount Elgon & Wildlife Safari in Kidepo
Day 1: Arrival in Uganda
On your arrival at the airport, you will be picked up by our driver/guide and transferred to the hotel in Entebbe/Kampala. Dinner and overnight at Boma Hotel Entebbe.
Day 2: Transfer to Mount Elgon National Park
After breakfast, your driver/guide will pick up and start the journey to Mount Elgon with the first stopover at Seziba falls and Mabira forest, after driving to Jinja for lunch and boat cruise to the source of the River Nile and after continuing with the drive which takes you through Mbale town to Sipi falls after check in to a lodge for dinner and overnight at Sipi Falls Lodge
Day 3: Start the Hike from the Budadiri starting point
After breakfast your driver will transfer you to Budadiri where to hiking starts via Sasa river camp 2900m high; continue with the hike to Mude camp 3500m high where you will have dinner overnight.
Day 4: Start the hike to Wagagai peak 4321 meters & after driving to Kidepo valley national park
Today you will have early breakfast and start the hike from Mude camp all way to Wagagai peak at 4321m above sea level, this day’s hike will take about 3 to 4 hours hike depending on your hiking speed after you will descend and immediately drive to Kidepo valley national park through the Karamoja region and Kitgum town for dinner and overnight at Boma Hotel Kitgum
Day 5: Morning Game drive/Exploration of Kideopo Valley National Park
After early breakfast we drive to the park from morning game drive where you might see the early risers like lions and leopards, other mammals on the list include the striped hyenas, cheetah, bat-eared fox, caracal lesser, roan antelope, greater kudu, eland, oribi, besia oryx, oribi, defassa, giraffe, zebra, elephants among others
In the afternoon after lunch, you will go for a tour of local communities around the park and do some activities with them like milking of cows and their traditional dances. dinner and overnight at Savanah Safari Lodge
Day 6: Drive from Kidepo Valley national park to Gulu town
After breakfast you will go for a brief game drive and after check out and drive to Gulu town which is about a 4-hour drive. Dinner and overnight at Bomah Hotel-Gulu
Day 7: Transfer to Entebbe/Kampala
On this day you will have an easy drive to Entebbe airport for your return back home
