It is recommended if you start from the Nkuringo side and spent the night at Nkuringo Bwindi Lodge before embarking on the hike across Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, walking from the south to the north side of the park, this hike is approximately 23 kilometers and will take between 5 to 6 hours of the walk
The first few hours of the walk although very hot from the humidity is a bit challenging passing through different terrains of Bwindi, this hiking route is very interesting giving you an insight into how the local land is used for farming through different communities, as you progressed into the final phase of the walk it becomes easier. However, everything is done at your own pace which means that it can take longer or shorter depending on your pace, the ranger guides, and porters will stop more often to make sure that you are doing well and they will move at your peace.
